The Electronic Entertainment Expo technically begins on Wednesday of next week, but those who've followed the show in years past know that a lot of the biggest news breaks before the show even begins. Specifically, Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft will once again be hosting media from around the world at their respective pre-E3 briefings, during which it's expected that each of them will make significant announcements about their new game consoles. GameSpot will provide comprehensive coverage of each of these pre-E3 conferences, letting you experience the information download just as attendees of the conferences will.

The Big Three Press Conferences: GameSpot is pleased to announce that we will be presenting live streaming broadcasts of the Sony press conference as well as the Nintendo press conference next week, for free to all users, with higher-quality video exclusive to GameSpot subscribers. Microsoft's press conference will be broadcasted to subscribers after an hour-long tape delay. To receive e-mail reminders about each of the respective conferences, click on the "Remind Me" buttons on the GameSpot home page or the E3 monster coverage center. On-demand and downloadable versions of the press conferences--including HD-quality downloads for subscribers--will be available after the initial broadcasts. In addition to the video offering, expect up-to-the-minute breaking news as well as impressions from the editors following each conference.

For complete details on exactly what will be available for each of the press conference, be sure to check out GameSpot's E3 Press Conference Coverage Chart.

More Pre-E3 Conferences: Square Enix and Konami: In addition to the Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft press conferences, mark your calendars for the Square Enix and Konami briefings, respectively taking place on Monday at 1:00pm PDT and Tuesday at 4:00pm PDT. Look for breaking news coverage on GameSpot.

E3 Live Update: Once the preshow events are over, GameSpot subscribers will be able to tune in to watch more than 25 hours of live coverage throughout every hour of E3, beginning with our first show at the stroke of midnight on Wednesday. The preliminary schedule for E3 Live is now available on the E3 Live page. Dozens of in-depth game demos, special guest appearances, and show-floor check-ins will be available throughout the broadcast period. Non-subscribers will be able to view on-demand versions of each hour's worth of broadcasting approximately an hour after it airs. Only subscribers will be able to see the coverage live, while being able to send in their questions and chat with other viewers. For more information, visit GameSpot's E3 Subscriber Zone.

E a Sony de fato copiou o controle do Wii. Inteligentes...

Feles tmb perdeu o stream e o Night ficou dando spoiler.

The shell, which looks to be very simple in design, and hopefully cheap because of it, is a basic plug adapter for the "device out" port on the bottom of the Wii-mote. The controller looks to be very light and basic, offering a trigger hole which most likely will simulate the B button on the underside of the Wii-mote, as well as an analog stick on the top of the handle. We've got a first-look at the controller below, but will most likely have more official shots as soon as possible.[/i]

GestPoint has some cool gesture recognition going on with two of the upcoming Xbox 360 Eye-Toy cameras. Using two instead of one, they can detect motion in 3d space, in a sort of Wii-controller like fashion. Using your finger or other body part, you can direct a sword or other objects on the screen up, down, left, right, in, and out. The fun part is the in and out.

6 horas de fila para jogar o Wii. Meu deus.....

While Nintendo has created an impressive booth with 27 games running on even more stations, it is nearly impossible for most attendees to get a glimpse at the titles. A few minutes after the show opened, Nintendo estimated the wait to reach a game station at about four hours. By 10 am, the wait had increased to six hours. By our estimates, there were at least 1000 people in line waiting, especially for a first look at Ubisoft's Red Steel first person shooter.
Interestingly, there is hardly any wait at the Sony and Microsoft booth. People can test drive Xbox 360 and PS3 titles within five minutes of wait or less.
